We were approached with the exciting task of transforming this existing detached property in Sevenoaks, Kent.

​

The existing property, located within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with outstanding views out across the wider AONB, was extremely tired particularly to the rear and internally and was in need of complete renovation. The proposals include the demolition of several incongruous single storey outbuildings to the rear and the two storey extension side extension and single storey rear extension with internal reconfiguration to provide an open plan living space with a direct connection to the large rear garden. The proposals also include a replacement roof with a higher ridge height to incorporate a master bedroom suite, complete with Juliet balcony to take in the spectacular views out to the rear. Externally the dwelling will be refreshed with weatherboard cladding (to match a number of properties on the road) and a low maintenance through tone render system.
